Mark as Useful They just said they were from the Fire Fighters Fund Raising office...when I traced the number...it was a number from some Consignment Shop in NC. When I said I didn't have time to talk...he slammed the phone down.

Mark as Useful Called and said they have a case and complaint against me but did not say where or who is filing a complaint and gave me a case number. Is this some kind of law office? They even threatened me I only got 24 hours to call them back.

Mark as Useful Federal Grant Dept. offering 1 time $7k nontaxable grant to home owner with good credit, no bankruptcy blah blah blah. Need your bank acount. # for direct deposit only. Check can't be sent in the mail. Callers were completely unprofessional, sounded like this was out of country, could barely speak English, and had extremely poor manners.

Mark as Useful They call a couple times every few days and never leave a message. Today they left a message stating "if you name is _______ keep listening, if your name is not _________ hang up. If you continue listening we'll consider you are _________".
The name they said was not my name so I hung up.
